5 years - I can’t believe I am even writing that or faced with that reality. Sometimes I find comfort in reflecting back on our albeit too short life together & other times it’s too painful. One thing I do always reflect on is how courageous, brave & strong you were. You never wanted to be seen as a victim or a burden & took everything in your stride. Anyone that knew you, knows that nothing I am saying is just cliché & in-fact, it probably doesn’t do you justice. My broken heart will never mend & the emptiness I feel everyday without you will never subside. As your older sister, I’m sorry I couldn’t protect you from the unthinkable - but please know my love for you was & will always remain unconditional. Always my inspiration, always my Brother Tom ♥️.
